Welch’s was born over 150 years ago, when Thomas Bramwell Welch decided to serve grape juice instead of wine at his church. Welch was the first to pasteurize bottled fruit juice using Concord grapes, paving the way for a future industry. Today our awareness is nearly universal and we have a variety of products including snacks, food and beverages. Welch’s is a brand that consumers love and trust!
Headquartered in Concord, Massachusetts, Welch’s is the processing and marketing subsidiary of the National Grape Cooperative. Welch’s is owned by more than 1,000 family farmers across America and in Ontario, Canada, who make up this cooperative and who grow the delicious and inherently healthy Concord grapes used in Welch’s juices and other grape-based products. Welch’s is committed to research and development that will meet the growing demand for products that address consumers’ health and nutrition needs. Welch’s products are sold throughout the United States and in approximately 40 countries around the globe.

Global Beverage Corp (GBC), the exclusive bottler and distributor of Welch’s Sparkling Soda for the USA, is an independent soft drink company based in Oradell New Jersey. With decades of soft drink experience, GBC plans to make the American relaunch and expansion of the Welch’s Soda line, the cornerstone of its strategic growth plan. New flavors, graphics and consumer segments are on the horizon for the Welch’s Brand. With equity grounded in the American Farmer, GBC is excited for the reenergizing of this iconic brand.
